Decorient Appointed to Deliver New Nestlé Plant in Central Java

Decorient together with Pratama Kartika 36 Batang Clinic and supported by Kodim 0736 Batang organized mass vaccination event for the labor of Nestle Batik and Spark Project located at the site rest area prepared for this event. The event was attended by 147 participants with 31 workers received their first dose vaccine and 116 workers received their second one. This was the second mass vaccination event held at the project site.
Nestle Indonesia Project Manager, Pak Arjo Hary Tjahyono opened the event with his remarks on the importance of vaccination for the health of everyone involved in this project, especially knowing that the third wave of Covid-19 hit with Omicron variant is coming sooner or later. As of now, 774 employees of Decorient for this project have been vaccinated with around 62% have received their second jab.
Having managed projects in pandemic time, Decorient understood the challenges very well. Collaboration with the stakeholders, in this case the clients, consultants, local authorities and communities is important for the success of Covid-19 prevention management. Regular rapid antigen test, workers health screening as part of recruitment process, and the vaccination event are parts of the Covid-19 Protocol implemented in the project. The employees’ Health and Safety are the priorities in this project, as we believe everyone should be able to go to work and get home safely.
